The Fulfilled Life God Intended
We will offer a 4-part, study
for women, beginning Sunday,
April 4, at 1230 PM in Building
A. This study, The Fulfilled
Life God Intended, written by
Anita Carmen, will be presented
over four Sundays, April 4 and
18, and May 2 and 16. Each
session will begin with a
presentation followed by group
discussion.
Apr 4 we will gain insight
into dealing with trials when we
find ourselves unprepared to go
through them. Apr 18 we will
learn how to find our home in
God's plans. May 2 we will
explore the progression of God
revealing His will to us. May 16
we will gain insight into
dealing with life's delays and
closed doors.
This promises to be a very
practical study that we can
apply to our lives right away.
Please plan to attend and bring
a friend. This study series will
be presented by Sheri Bounds and

PASTORS LETTER

Who Can We Trust?
Hello once again from
Community Christian Fellowship,
When was the last time that you
felt all alone, even when you
were surrounded by people? As
Christians, we are not immune to
this feeling of loneliness. In
fact, one can't help but wonder
if this was the idea behind
Jesus yelling out, "My God, My
God, why have you forsaken me".
As God in the flesh, it would
seem impossible for God to 'turn
on himself'. But, it would make
sense that Jesus, being fully
human and fully God, would
experience these emotions after
several hours of torture and
incredible physical pain. Just a
few hours earlier he had
experienced extreme emotions in
the Garden as He asked the
Father if there was any way that
He could be delivered from what
was about to happen. He asked
three times, only to realize
that it was necessary for the
plan that had been established
for mankind. So, He stated, "not
my will but yours".
So when we consider who we
can trust, we need to understand
what that really means in the
relational context of our human
experience. Wikipedia defines
the term trust as follows: Trust
(social sciences), reliance on
another person or entity. Having
faith in others and believing
them.
So, once again, who can we
trust? I hope the answer is a
little clearer now. Until next
time, Pastor Mark
